I got a PSP a few years ago…it was great until the disc reader got messed up, which I was pretty upset about.
I see that the new PSVita is available for purchase. Does anyone have it? I liked the original PSP, but was pretty disappointed with the fact it only lasted a few (2 or 3) years. Is it going to be worth getting back into Sony handhelds with the Vita, or should i stick with my iPod touch?

you can get the psp really cheap so i would get both 
I own a Vita and love it. It is great, but the combination of high price ($300 w/ memory card for Wi-fi only) and low selection of games means that you should wait until the price drop. 
Yeah, I’m definitely gonna wait for a price drop, or at least until a bigger selection of games comes out.
In the meantime, I’m thinking about picking up a 3DS.
I think the PSV is good. I don’t own it though.
