Despite the issues, I still think the idea behind these latest plastics from Jeff is really cool.
The Plastic Fulvia was the first release, havenāt seen issue yet with these. @jeffreypang911 did mention he was going after YoYoJam Vibes with the plastic concept.
Has it only been the white ones that have the cracks? Havenāt seen other colors with a crack yet.
Edit- never mind. I see an orange and blue one above.
My 000 (white) has also cracked in the hub.
None of my plastic Peaks have. All get played and not smashed about the place.
Dang, I was just about to buy a 000 and plastic Peak too. Wellā¦ā¦I guess not then
Here for a good time not a long time. They are fun.
The problem is that all replacements will most likely suffer from the same issue.
We all wanted nipples, what can I say?
Itās cheap enough that Iām super glad to have it, and hopefully itās just a small percentage thatāll be impacted, because I love the way it plays and the heart that went into it
I recommend that you buy one to try it and enjoy it for as long as it lasts because its game is really addictive with that old school bounce;)
And who knows if 100% of the Pleaks will end up cracking⦠some will remain and it could be yours!
Just checked out of curiosity and this oneās been in the case a few months untouched yet itās cracking at the hubā¦
Dang. That hurts.
Pretty much my experience, too. Not really doing anything with it, and itās toast. Unfortunate, too, as it is a cool throw, and Iām sure the guys put a lot of heart into it.
The plastic 000 is one of my favourite plastics, it just plays great, the pleak is great fun too. In my eyes they are an example of excellent design adaptation, and the plastic cracking is a bit worrying.
It would be awesome to see a machined polycarbonate version of these throws, I would buy them on release date even if pricier. Any chance we will see anything like that @jeffreypang911?
My white P000 (still looks fine) is going in my bag today.
Folks, you got to let them know you love them while you can.

Someone linked me this thread so Ill chime in here!
We have sold so many units of various plastics this year so I think so far its not insane to have 10 or 20 pcs of those defective. Since these are machined sometimes one of them are mounted wrong or theres just extra stress in the injection process. Especially the Peak it pushes the limits of what is possible with plastic.
Some people have emailed me about this - I am pretty easy about replacements since Id be pretty unhappy if my yoyo fell apart under normal use too haha. You can contact me via luftverk@gmail.com if you have issues!
Cheers and thanks : )
Would like to add a vote of confidence that Jeff is great about replacements!
100% the way he handled the whole hybrid thing was amazing.
