PGM Mod Questioning

Okay, so I want to remove the hubstacks on my pgm, and I’ve browsed the forums with no real luck on any idea of this. Only question is the specifications for the hex screw/nut and is it possible (I’m new to modding). Not sure on that. Want to remove the hubstacks, and make it non-hubstacked, replacement being a hex screw and matching nut. To be specific, I think I need to replace the hub that keeps both halves of the throw together, consider I have difficult putting it back together after I silicone’d it, along with numerous tangles. So yes, yet again, is it possible to replace with a specific bolt/nut, and any idea on specifications since I’ll most likely have to have a custom one made around where I live?

Unscrew the yo-yo and remove the bearing. Take the half with the axle and tap the axle out with a hammer. Screw the axle into the non axle side and repeat. You can replace the those parts with an M4 bolt and nut that you can buy from a hardware store such as Ace.

For the cost of having someone make you an M4 bolt/nut you can probably buy a new yoyo. Do like mrcnja says - Ace hardware (or whatever your local hardware store is).

Okay, many thanks. Any chance someone could post a pic or message me a pic to give a general idea of what the bolt would look like? Not much of a hardware specialist unfortunately, though most likely will become one through yoyo’in,lol. Tried looking for one myself, but came across weaponry and general bolts/nuts.

I use a Duncan Mosquito Axel in my PGM, because I lost the Hubstack post.

I took the the hub stacks off of my PGM and it play exactly the same. I go to pick it up sometimes and am sad I took them off.

Thanks, and I never really caught myself using the stacks to begin with, kind of wish I bought one without stacks, or even a different throw somewhat.

I de-stacked my pgm and put the stacks on my hectic
