I can definitely agree with you on your comment about the hub. It’s obvious that it concentrates some mass at the hub and that tracks with what you said.

The dome is an interesting design aspect. The cool thing about the dome is that you can add or deduct center mass without impacting “much” of the aesthetic of the yoyo. Wall manipulation and yoyo thickness across the half’s also play crucial roles in how the yo-yo will play and react. Sometimes it’s guessing because even though you can use past model experience, a new YoYo design wants to be its own unique entity.
Perpetual is such a cool design that I am not sure people at the time (or even now) took us seriously.

Here’s a vid I took during my time with this yoyo. I know a good friend who, during a conference we were having, agreed to try out this yoyo. His skills far exceed my own and was able to give a good demonstration of what the Perpetual can do. He really enjoyed it!

My two weeks is closing out today. I appreciate the opportunity to throw around such a gorgeous piece.
This was time well spent. Kudos @JEA86 for coming out of the gate with a hitter. This one has been on a stellar journey around the globe. It has a little pulse if it pauses, but it is a hell of a dance partner when it moves. There isn’t a thing in my bag-o-tricks it can’t handle. I’m quite partial to an H shape, and this is a king among them. This was actually my first dip in the Motion pool. I’ll be dipping back in. I super hope Fluid gets it’s day in the sun.
