depends, how many yoyos are you prepared to sacrifice to cthulhu?

The real question is how many yo-yos does Cthulhu need sacrificed to them in order for my happiness to be fulfilled?

Do you have any thoughts on it?

Alright the Yoyo has been shipped to @Shwa and tracking provided in DM.

This was my first time trying a yoyo by Motion. I had seen a lot of people talking about how good the brand was, so I had high expectations before I received the yoyo. I wasnā€™t sure what to expect as I didnā€™t look up any of the specs. So I was surprised to see it was an undersized Bimetal. I went through a period a few years ago where I only bought mini and undersized yoyos. Iā€™m not sure how this passed on my radar.

First, the ano was amazing. I really liked the color and the contrast of the stainless steel rims. I canā€™t remember the exact weight, but it was around 59g when I weighed it. One thing I think people get wrong when designing mini and undersized yoyos is the weight. In my opinion, the smaller you go, the lighter the yoyo also needs to be. Otherwise, you get this rock on a string effect. The Parallel did this perfectly. Also, I like the fact it uses a D bearing. It plays very much like a full-size yoyo. I absolutely love this thing. I really tried to find some cons with this yoyo, but I just canā€™t. This is an absolute home run by Motion.

Recently I did a collab with Ray over at MonkerfingeR and printed some spin caps for the Halloween drop. So I decided to make some for the Parallel. This also gives people a chance to feel what I mean about the smaller the yoyo, the lighter it should be. I forgot to weigh the yoyo with them on, but it should be around 66g with both caps. I had a few issues with the print and didnā€™t have time to reprint, so there is a little vibe with them and a few flaws.

Iā€™ve included the instructions for cap removal in the packaging but just incase here they are also.

Instructions for Spin Cap Removal

The Small Hole is Used for Removal:

Method 1: Use electronic duster to pop the caps off. The needle that comes with the duster should fit in the hole. Then just 1 quick press of air will pop them right out.

Method 2: A standard yoyo axle hex wrench will fit into the hole. Make sure to pull straight up and out instead of at an angle.

When I first saw this I thought I was looking at a unicorn in a new colorway. This is sick though.

Oh I had to make some for the Unicorn also. And the OG proyo stunt pilot. :joy: When I get a chance ill post some pics in the 3d printed thread so we are not getting off topic here.

@Shwa any thoughts on the YoYo?

Yes, thanks for asking. I just told Yooo that itā€™s a spectacular little yo-yo! Plays big for sure with a real nice presence on the string. Chopsticks galore and moves around pretty effortlessly.

Iā€™m so sorry I didnā€™t take any pictures. Life has been a little hectic with the holidays. Thanks for letting me give it a run.

My only issue is I want one of the blue ones and I know those were protos so finding one might be super hard. Any plans on more color ways?

The caps are fun and really well madeā€¦. Kudos to @yoyoknight ps. I put them in a box so theyā€™ll travel safe.

@Shwa got it to me fast! Saw on my UPSP informed mail ā€œan unexpected packageā€ was coming today. Luckily the mailman came early today so I had a little bit of time to play with it soon as it got here. I remember why I enjoyed it so much my first time I tried it for 10 minutes. Iā€™ll post more of a review/videos later and I have a few undersized yoyos I can compare it to as well such as the Baryon, Valley, and Passion. The Valley has been my favorite yoyo forever and this is definitely giving it a hard run for that spot.
