Paper spacers

Curious if any of you have ever tried using paper spacers in your Loopers? One of my Dawn d3s is more responsive than the other and some of my hornets when I half swap them become way too responsive. Was thinking about making some paper spacers to put in the ones that are acting more responsive than they should.

How would you go about making paper spacers? I’ve had one suggestion in the past to sand down the starburst with denim, but I was thinking paper spacers may fix the issue.

I’ve never used paper as a spacer. I imagine some construction paper cut to shape could do it in enough layers.

For make shift spacers I often use bearing shields I’ve removed
