There are so many great throws, I feel like I’m doing a disservice to so many by answering this. Those that know me though will not be suprised that I have to say the G2 warthog. Especially the early runs with the super smooth finishes in the cups…

I’ve thought a lot about this, and the answer actually surprised me. If I could only have one throw, it’d be my Panorama. Surprising because it’s not what I would consider my best throw or even most used. I reach for my iQ when I’m working on something. My Free Solo when I just want something super smooth and quiet. My Speedaholic when I want something really bright and different and can do everything I know how to do.
But the Pano is equal parts old school and new to me. I got a black on black, and it’s completely stock. The size and shape remind me of old Butterflies and Imperials from my childhood—just thin and classic yoyo. However, the unresponsive bearing and wider gap allow me to do any modern trick I know. The weight is perfect, and the fit and finish makes it seem like an heirloom from a day when quality reigned supreme, not price.
I know I’m waxing poetic here, but it really is a great throw, and I love how it’s simple, yet can do complex things. Honestly, it’s not even much harder than using something like the iQ. Maybe just a tad more focus. Anyway, I was surprised by my final answer to this question, but maybe it will inspire someone else to try something out of their norm.

Thank you for your response, I know what you mean as I have 3 of them. First one was the all black, then I bought two half swaps from One Drop and even chose the colors of the side effects. I love the feel of it, not to fast not to slow. For me it’s just a relaxing throw.

I would make a custom yoyo out of two round 6 yoyo cases and fill them an even distribution of yoyos purely to prevent vibe. Side bonus is I’d have 12 yoyos inside my one yoyo.

RBC. It’s a beast. It stalls well, pull starts amazingly, loops ok (though I am a bit afraid of it), and is very comfortable in the hand or the pocket. Also it looks great in every color, but the gold one is the best gold ano I’ve seen on any throw.

Hands down my favorite responsive throw I own. I just ordered my 5th RBC in Rhnull (gold) I already have Red, Black, Clear and Red/Black Splash. Thinking about about doing some half swaps with the Black, Red and Gold.

I have been resisting buying a third, black RBC to do the same exact thing (as I have gold and red). The half swap looks awesome!

The black and gold is going to look awesome!
The gold has a unique engraving under the response pads. It’s just not engraved on the outside.
