It is more a rerelease than a new release for 2019. It was literally created to get a Ti Walker in everyone’s hands at a really low price.
Maybe I could have worded it to “it’s not technically a rerelease” before saying what made it not a rerelease in my opinion. It’s like a movie that’s been digitally remastered. Same old movie, but using modern enhancement.
You are going to be very disappointed. Jordan told me he would give me $1 off my next purchase if I misrepresented the Absurdity.
It is actually a horrible yoyo. It wobbles. It vibes. It only sleeps for 11 seconds. The finish feels like sandpaper. It eats string. I have to change the string after every 3 throws. He told me his next batch will be a release of 5 Worldwide. That way it will sell out faster.
As an apology for giving the yoyo a dreamy review to pull in the suckers; I will give you that $1 I save on my next Opyoyo.
It’s a 6 metal yoyo with a soft chocolate center.
Jordan told me the moment I throw his next yoyo; my brain will melt.
Okay, well, I’m going to continue to regard it as a new release because it has a new name, a new gap, a new response area, new colorways, and its own number series. Its marketplace intent doesn’t negate any of that. To my mind it was every bit as much a new release as the Kuntosh 5000QV was.
I actually think deep down you want to agree with me. After all, “not technically a rerelease” is functionally equivalent to saying “not a rerelease” (“technically” is like the word “rather”, you can remove it without changing the fundamental meaning of the phrase it’s been glommed into).
Nah. It’s neither. It’s just closer to a rerelease than not.
Based on the differences you consider enough to make a whole new release, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd runs of peaks are all different yo-yos as well as the Projects that have different response systems.
It’s completely ok for there to be disagreement here though . The community enjoys the release, and that’s pretty great.
Thanks for updating with factual information. I bought the yoyo in 2019 while attending a Yoyo Contest. It was on a table and was listed as a 2nd because of ano defects. I never heard of the yoyo until that moment.
I don’t do much social media. So it’s likely I missed useful information about Unspoken and/or the Artemis yoyo.
I am up to date on a good deal of yoyo information. But obviously had no information on the release date of the Artemis.
The sf motive its a amazing light nimble and powerful at the same time and it shares the same shape as the sf bliss and it there is a green color way the best color on a yoyo which I have.
