One Drop YoYos Official News

100% agree on this @da5id , we all need some clear players. Maybe on the YYE drop perhaps

Also was able to snag the SM panorama. Suuuper excited about this one, loved the sudo/parlay, def unforgiving throws, but are super fun to play with. Plus, that’s how you git gud!

I decided to try and go back to grab a second for am edc, but they were gone within the few minutes I hesitated.

I will not make that mistake again…

It does. Y’all need to chill, clear and/ or black have historically been easy pickings for me and I’d like to keep it that way.

I’ve got a few already, but thought a black one would be nice too, forgot about the drop then read about how quick they sold. So happy for OD!!! Glad everyone is as excited about this throw as I have been. It’s so good! Can’t wait for everyone to get them and hear everyone’s thoughts

How would you compare it in play to the sudo/parlay?

To me they are different, I believe Tsukasa said it was inspired in part by the Parlay. But the Panorama is narrower, taller, heavier (just a tad), a little more stable than the Parlay. If it makes sense I’d put it in between the Parlay and the Sudo as far as play goes, but it has a different in the hand feel.

Sorry, I’m horrible with all the terms that are used today to describe a yoyo in play, but the above makes sense in my head. I think if you like/love the Parlay or Sudo you’re going to love the Panorama.

If the picture they used is anything to go by it seems like there were only three of them up for sale while the ESP one seemed to have four or five.

I too was hoping for a clear, but did manage a SM

Just have to not ding the SM until clear drops

Hey guys. Is it possible or already planned a VTWO and Markmont classic magnum opus new batches?

No plans on the VTWO at the moment but it’s not retired. All Markmonts are managed by the Markmont brand so you’ll have to check with him on that.

Late and perhaps off-topic…

Really? Have you ever tried to order individual, replacement Lego pieces?

I think they’re a steal. You get three sets of the hubs, and only $5 to make your OD a light up! If you already have Lego SE…

I put the hubs on my Dietz, and the Light Ups on my Downbeat. They’re both great!

As I recall the multicolored ones were initially much more than 5$ Seems like they were 15-20$ when first listed. Not sure what changed.

I found some crazy strobe light Legos on EBay for 5$. They are intense!!!

I think that was the wrong price. Those are cool!

The post was in reference to the “wrong price” then. 5$ seems reasonable.

As I understand it, this photo is of the original 2013 Benchmark series of yoyos. Were these sold in raw/clear ano? Or were the raw ones (as shown) only prototypes?

Pretty sure those were Nickel plated. I don’t remember clear.

edit: There was clear, but the photo you posted looks like the Nickel plated.

I got to throw this at nationals! It’s quite unique, didn’t play at all how I thought it would when I saw it, plays closer to an MMC/top deck-ish area rather than floaty.
