One Drop Wizard

I think it’s convex, too. Reminds me of the DD Emotion center.

They call it The Wizard because that’s what I’m gonna have to be to cop this and reach the mailbox before my gf does and sees another yoyo lolol

I can picture her now pulling up after work, just fumbling the key around, finally gets it’s in there, opens it up to see a small first class package with my name on it, oh the eye roll is probably legendary lmao I’m sorry I’m in a goofy mood today.

yeah no i totally feel this. my wife when a package arrives with my name on it. the “ohhh is that another yoyo?” the eye roll the question on how much… yeah… its rough. hoping the mail truck gets here before she gets home today to catch a package arriving from the duncan sale…

ohh yesterday when the deadeye arrived was the best. she was like. I could have saved you 24.75 with a quarter. is she wrong… idk maybe maybe not but that one felt like maybe she was right… either way she buys bags like i buy yoyos so i think we are even lol.

We need to start a new post topic about ways people have figured out how to get yoyos without wife knowing.

Bro I have said this before we need like a “The husbands and boyfriends of yoyo” thread where we just swap stories and funny stuff like that :joy:

back in the day i would just send stuff to the office but haven’t worked in a proper office in like 5 years at this point. My brother is no help either he believes i need an intervention and have too many yoyos. how absurd is that. apparently, a normal number of yoyos doesn’t exceed the number of days in a week or month let alone approaching the different yoyo a day for a year mark.

Mine uses usps informed mail tracker so theres not much i can do to get around it. Can’t even beat her to the packages cuz she knows theyre coming :pensive:

People accumulate stuff that is so much less cool than yo-yos like we could be into vintage dolls or something…they’re lucky it’s just yo-yos…

my brothers collect guns and knives and the knive collector also does magic cards all of which are much more expensive than this hobby.

I had 3 clear throws, wife/kids never realized it was multiples, but as soon as a purple throw showed up on my desk the question started…

just get everything the same color… and they likely wont notice.

After nearly 25 years, the worst I get is “it looks nice, but I still can’t tell the difference from all the others”.

Selling some of my old magic cards has been a great way to afford more yo-yos.

Looks like the hub of a Deeper State meets the Profile of a MCMO, I’ll take one in clear please @da5id

At least the yoyos don’t take up a ton of space. I’m new to the hobby but am a long-time record collector. It would take a lot of yoyos to occupy a similar amount of space, though I’m sure some of you are close!
