Hey all! I’ve recently managed to acquire another OG Bapezilla (lost mine during a previous trip). I’ve actually only threw one OG Bapezilla in my life and this is my second one.

Could you describe the baseline vibe of a regular OG, without any teflon tape and with just the bare axle?

Has anyone here managed to tune one WITHOUT any teflon tape? I ran out of tape and I’ve been trying for the past hour without any luck. I used to tune my old one with teflon tape - it was literally chattering with a finger test and vibrating significantly on the string without it. Never tried to take the teflon tape out thereafter.

Is there any particular tuning method? For my previous one the way to get it smooth was to get 4-5 turns of the axle in one half, then screw it together with the other half.

What are some pads that are available TODAY which can be fitted in one since the old ones are all no longer available?
