Does anyone based in the US offer OEM services for custom yo-yos? I just want to have 2 made for my own use.

Within the US… that’s hard. Companies like custom stopped doing stuff like this long ago and others won’t touch such a request at all leaving you mostly with a few folks with access to a lathe or cnc and one drop.
If you open your idea to other countries there are lots of manufacturers and some that will definitely do small runs but even then you need to frame it as a prototype not a single tiny run as most manufacturers will simply not take such a small quantity. Most even have a minimum quantity in general so they don’t waste their time so finding somobd willing to do less than 5+ YoYo’s will be hard

If you’re just trying to do a prototype run, I would just reach out to fpm. I know that defeats the US based part of your question. Since you started with that as part of your question I’m sure the price part isn’t a concern for you, but what you do get is someone that has yoyo manufacturing knowledge so they don’t have to learn the process and they have bearing seats and pad depths all locked in. As simple as a yoyo is it tends to be super complicated to make and requires quite a bit of precision and in some cases specialized holders made just for that yoyo that most shops wouldn’t be willing to invest their time and their machines time for just a small prototype batch.

If you want a quick response from Chinese manufacturers, try using the WeChat app to send an inquiry. That’s how I got responses from a few OEM companies within just a few hours.
