Odd Coincidence?

Just found a pretty neat and interesting (Easter egg?) involving yoyos on TV. 2 days after WYYC ended, a new episode of a cartoon called Steven Universe aired on CartoonNetwork. The show introduced a new character than oddly enough uses a yoyo. Here’s some photos:

It seems pretty interesting how these 2 events happened near the same time. The creator may or may not have known about the WYYC? Or this might’ve been a interesting coincidence. Either way I still find it interesting. Do any of you have some interesting experiences or coincidences involving yoyos?

Cartoon Network has covered the wyyyc more than any other network I could think of. So it wouldn’t surprise me that there’s a connection, but I’m gonna guess its a coincidence though.
