Hey everyone! I was wondering if I should take the caps off of my northstar. If you think I should, how do you think I would do it? Thanks!
I don’t think you can take the caps off a Northstar…
I don’t even think the Northstar has caps…
It does have cap like caps. No if you take them off the yoyo will break.
They hold the two nuts. They are glued on or something tuff.
Let’s reiterate so as to be clear even at the risk of redundancy…
Your NorthStar does NOT have “caps” which can be removed. I’m fairly confident you will ruin your yoyo if you were to try it. If you feel your NorthStar is disposable and it might be worth the risk send it to me first. Mine’s got a crack so I could use a replacement.

You need a lathe and the knowledge of how to use it.
