I’ve recently purchased a Throw Monkey with the slight factory recess. The problem is that the string keeps slipping off the bearing. It falls between the bearing and the spacer and onto the axle. I’ve probably broken around 5 strings already. I’m using the stock bearing and spacers. Also, the axle is way harder to put through the yoyo than normal. Any help? Thanks.
Your axle may be screwed up. Maybe it’s crooked, causing the disability of turning together tightly. Therefore a gap may open between the bearing and spacer.
It may seem sarcasm, but this has happened to one of my yoyo’s.
