A small bearing of this yoyo is a smart release. The size and weight really lends itself to an A bearing.

Sk8rs gonna sk8. Also the small bearing version comes with a much larger finger board than the original.
I didn’t know they changed the weight though - I’ll check that once I get into the office today.
Yup, Small bearing Sk8r is lighter. 59.5 grams.
They should have just made the design a small bearing to begin with.
I like the small bearing version better personally as well, but starting with a C bearing design definitely helps to reach a wider audience. A lot of people will see “small bearing” and immediately decide they don’t want it.
I get that, but now knowing there’s a small bearing I really regret buying one of the large bearings.
