The newest release from Core Co is a collaborative effort with Scales. This project was originally conceived at the 2018 National Yo-Yo Contest and made it’s debut at Worlds this year. The Qubit!

The idea for this collaboration was to make a yo-yo that captured the feeling of some older designs. Designs that might have strange proportions, designs that may look a little odd, and designs always had a super fun unique feel in play. The Qubit delivers that fun feel without sacrificing modern performance; The ‘wider than it is tall’ design is surprisingly capable and an absolute joy to throw. It plays fast and agile with all the catch zone you could ask for!

This is a pre-production release first released at the World YoYo Contest. Available in Deep Indigo and Pale Gold.

It’s actually pretty undersized - not great in terms of stability or spin time, but great for the general premium feel and floatiness.

I’ve had 0 issues with spin time, it keeps up with any trick I throw at it.

That might just be the one I tried at Worlds then :grin: I also just have fairly high bar for yoyo’s spin times too

I just got mine in. I think it plays great. Idk about it being undersized though. I guess if your just looking at the diameter. Its actually wider than the Shutter WA. :flushed: Its really fun to play though. Finger spins are soo easy on this. Anyone can do finger spins with a few tries. :+1:
