been slowing getting back into Kendama. not great, but it’s very fun.
And it’s not just for a couple seconds, it’s literally the whole time you’re petting her. Also, she does it when she gets up from laying down for a while.
why does she do that?
I have no clue, she has done it her whole life. It also could be because she is kinda chubby.
lmao, that is hilarious.
What does the vet say about this? Maybe there needs to be a change in diet.
Meant to post this a while ago but ya know. I got back into flying drones. The one i fly is less about making pretty footage and more about enjoying the freedom of flight.
That is so cool to be able to get crazy views like that. Flying it must be really fun too.
The feeling of flight is one that I can’t express. It’s all consuming within the goggles. The troubles of the world can’t reach you within the goggles.
It’s like the childhood dream I never knew I had. I spent countless hours playing Star Wars pod racer for n64 and this takes that excitement into the real world. The level of control you have is unlike any other vehicle. The only thing I have ever this level on control on is a yo-yo.
I never knew you could see all that in real-time through goggles. I have a lot of dreams in which I can fly. This would be the next best thing.
I highly recommend NOT looking into it. It is a money pit but to quote someone who wasn’t Davinvi regardless of what the internet says.
“Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.”
Luckily these type of drones you build so each piece can be replaced when you inevitably break it. Being one who loves to tinker and solder its another part of the hobby I really enjoy.
Here is what someone more capable can do.
I’d never buy that stuff. I want to really fly although a simulation would be nice. I don’t have enough interest in getting all that equipment.
Nice looking family!
Several caterpillars (only one survived) and 3 snails. Also quite a few ants this year although I don’t really see them as pets. The snails and caterpillar are intentionally acquired from the garden for educational purposes though.
(sigh) I’ve even tried origami.
Nice! Didn’t work out?
I can make the shapes while looking at the book, but not from memory. Guess I have to do them more than once.
Practice a whole bunch of things and then make one of them (or two) your signature origami. The one(s) you amaze people with because you can do it with your eyes closed.
