I just got my avalanche and have been playing with it for a couple of hours or so. I was wondering if the the CLYW bearings come dry. I think it might be; do I need to lube it?
If its loud it probably is dry. I wouldn’t ad lube until it sounds like metal scraping metal. If you like to put lube in clean it and add lube. If you like them dry clean it and spin it dry and keep throwing :).
They aren’t going to break if they have no lube in :).
I recently asked the same question.
All of my clyws comes with a bit a lube. After playing with it for a few hours they break in and get pretty loud.
