okay im a fellow modder but this is one thing i have trouble with and i was wondering what type of sand paper or even if something otehr than sand paper what should i use to get a nice clean polish after a reshape or if its got a couple dings

The idea is to work your way up through the grits. Start at say 400, then you can use 600, then 1000, 1500, 2000 and then finish it off with a polishing compound.
i have a set of 4 polished aluminum wheels with no clear coat, and i want to make them shine like chrome. i already tried to wet sand them with 180, 240, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, then finally 2000 grit sandpaper. i did that wet sanding in that order. after that i used eagle one mag and aluminum polish with a soft cotton cloth. they are shinnier but not chrome or mirror shiny. what should i do please help me
After doing what mrcnja said, use never dull.
It takes very little and it will last forever. I can polish maybe 2 yoyos with a wad the size of a quarter.
