nautilus?

On the code 2: Nautilus… I’ve heard the story before, but forgot it. Where did nautilus come from?

I think the OP meant the Nautilus part of the name. Off the top of my head, I think it had something to do with some sort of marine life. JRod’s floating around here somewhere, I’m sure he can give a definitive answer.

It’s a 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, reference, no? I always assumed it was but I may be mistaken.

It’s actually an indirect reference to the Greek legend Jason and the Argonauts. The word “nautilus” comes from the genus name of an extinct octopus called Argonauta, which is related to the name of the ship that Jason and the Argonauts sailed on - the Argo. :slight_smile:
