no, you only need to do it once.
when I lube a bearing after cleaning it, I only put one drop on my needle, and touch a ball. then spin it on like a pen or something for like a minute, and that’s usually good.

Actually, here`s how I do it. Apply the tiny drop of lube on the needle and apply onto 1 of the balls. Plug and Play. Not 4 times ot even 2, but I do it 1 time.
