I think my genesis + is to heavy! Should I take off the hubstacks? Do that help? Plz help!
I don’t think taking the hubstacks off will make it lighter, unless you’re using some sort of ultra mega metal stacks. Reason is, the stacks are plastic and therefore light so it won’t take much weight away from it.
Yes take off the stacks while the stacks and bearings might not weigh that much, in a world where 6 grams can make the difference between feather light and boat anchor heavy, sheding those few grams will help.
A few grams is a MAJOR difference in the yo-yo world. Besides, stacks have a steel bearing inside of them.
