Anybody wanna help me find my dream throw? At the moment, I’m unaware as to which throw could be my dream throw.
It can be $200 or lower.
My desired shape? W, V, or H.
My preferred brands are OneDrop and CLYW, but, I don’t really care.
I’d love a yoyo that could fingerspin & fingergrind, but again, I just want a nice 1A yoyo
I’d prefer not to have hubbies or zacks.
(Check my favorites for yoyo’s I’ve liked very much) both of their bearings are lubed and ready for life.
A lot of my favorite yoyos are wide, but have an average diamater. My Terrarian fingergrinds very well, but it doesn’t fingerspin very well, vice-versa w/ my Big Dipper. I’d prefer if the yoyo wasn’t a hulking mass (aka heavy) I’d prefer an averagely weighted yoyo, if that makes sense ‘~’
My preferred colors are dark blue (like midnight blue) and sky blue. =3=
It’s colorway is even called Midnight. Definitely a great throw. I can’t fingerspin it well but it’s a beast at finger grinds. It has a very generous catch zone as well which for me boosts my confidence in some tricky landings. You can even treat yourself to a bonus to go along with this and get its younger brother, the iYoyo Hidra. The Firrox and Hidra are both equally amazing yoyos and very comfy in the hand despite them being an H.
As someone that has been in the yoyo game LITERALLY two weeks, I’m guessing that you have to sample many yoyos and sort out your likes and dislikes. I have 4 already, but I understand that $$ can be an issue. I’ve found MANY on eBay selling for $20 and under. New they would be 55 to 75 each. So just like the dating scene, sample sample sample until you figure out what you like. Then you can decide what’s best for you.
