Regarding the MRL series, doing something new that was not in the yo-yo market at the time was the concept of the MRL.

Then we discussed with Shingo Terada (Terry) & Yoyo Studio Llama to make customized yoyo.

The flat center hub allowed us to create a detailed design, and we engraved a portion of the PC shell to create a one-of-a-kind yo-yo.

When the Surveil was produced, it was originally developed with POM material, but it was decided that it could also be developed with PC material, and the process of production with PC material was started.

In yo-yo production, we had a hard time finding the right weight balance and system.
The most difficult thing was that the engraving of the Skyline Series was not always beautifully engraved, and I still have a hard time with that. lol

My favorite mowl’s throw are the M and the Hybrid.
I used to use only YOMEGA products in my childhood and I still collect vintage Yomega products. I also like Luftverk and A-RT products because they are made differently from other brands.

It is very difficult to make any yo-yo perfectly.

We have the know-how of the mono metal yo-yos we have made in the past. Making a mono metal yo-yo is the least time consuming, but it is difficult in terms of differentiation.

Although not growing rapidly, I still vividly remember Daiki Tanaka’s performance at 44Festival in Japan in 2017, when the first Surveillance was pre released in 2017.

We are currently preparing Surveillance Ti, so please wait for a while until it is available.

What would you say is the most notable trait of a mowl yoyo? I’ve never owned one

What do you think is the hardest challenge you face in running a yoyo company?

What kind of education did you get and does it benefit the way you run Mowl as a business?

How much prep goes into your video releases, from player preparation to shooting time + editing and video planning?

I don’t think it is a religion. For me, I guess yo-yoing is a tool to express my identity. I also consider it a communication tool.

I don’t think it matters how good you are good at yo-yoing, and collecting yo-yos without playing them is one of the joys of yo-yoing. I think it is really wonderful that there are so many ways to enjoy yo-yos.

When we started preparing to launch mowl, it was 2015.
When I started mowl, I researched what yo-yos were available in the market, what yo-yos were popular in the US, Europe, Asia, and Japan, and asked the store owners directly.

YoYoFactory has been very supportive from the start-up phase, with me as the first sponsoring member. I have used them as a reference in terms of running the company.

Thank you Ben and Hans for the your support!

Last year, production was unstable due to COVID-19, and supplies were in short supply, but this has improved and YYE now has stock, so be sure to pick some up!

I received a YoYoFactory 888 after Yuki Spencer won the world championship, and I was most depressed when I hit it on the asphalt lol.

I have always loved round shape yo-yos.

The yo-yos that have particularly influenced me in the creation of Q are the YYF-888, DUNCAN-Freehand, and ART-Grail, which are all great yo-yos.

The hybrid is also one of the craziest ideas I’ve ever had, having recently released its second lot.
I was very impressed when the yo-yo designers started working on a prototype of what was initially a joke idea and I got to play with it.

Depending on when I played it, my first impressions of the hybrid were similar to those of SuperYo! RENEGADE, Duncan FreeHand 1, YYF 888, and YoYoJam Aquarius. It means innovative!

If you have a chance to touch the Hybrid, please let me know what you think of it ^^

Thank you for collecting mowl’s products !

We have talked about making another type of undersized yo-yo, but we have another project in progress, so it will take some time before we can release it, but we do plan to release it.

My favorite yoyo company is “YoYo Factory”.

Thank you for sharing your interesting view!

One of the reasons why our yo-yos are categorized as heavy and light products may be that we are different from the yo-yos released by other brands and are being developed along different lines.

If a mowl ambassador who good at speed combo appears in the future, it may be time to develop 63 ~ 64 grams yoyo.

I’m so sorry. I missed one questions.

It is one of our trade secrets, so we can’t explain it in detail, but we have made detailed modifications around the bearing pads for each yo-yo, and adopted a pad system that suits each yo-yo!
