Oh man. A week now into playing this I just have to say- this is probably my favorite yo-yo of all time. I’m surprised that the Samurai didn’t get the same level of nostalgic legend status as the Cold Fusion. The Cold Fusion is wonderful- but the Samurai honestly is a better yoyo. I’m amazed that even though I have a yo-yo here that is 22 years old, has taken dings and abuse etc still performs so remarkably. The sound And feel of that old ceramic bearing is killer. The yo-yo itself is just kind of the perfect heavy hitter old school metal responsive.
So I guess this post is just for me to fanboy more over my recent discovery of the joys of the 1999 Samurai. What a wonderful little machine.
