Yeah, but I didn’t expect you to do the whole combo offhand though. Killer!
Since late last year I’ve been focusing on offhand, the Hydr0A started as a joke that wasn’t very funny and then actually worked.
I can refilm any parts people would like to see with my right hand if it would help
Hah! I didn’t realize it until I got through the whole thing and then I was like w/e I already got it all down now lol and it seemed harder to relearn it than just do it. I was just curious really. Also idk if you need to do all that like ppl can replace youtube with mirrorthevideo in the url and it will be a tut for rightys
I enjoy the challenge, and if anyone benefits from me filming LH and RH then I’m happy to provide a useful service. Probably easier for me to film both then try to convince anyone that using mirror sites is stuffing with my playlist recommendations and subscriber growth.
If you want another challenge, this is something that I prepared for FAF25.
In the early planning stages Drew Tetz suggested offhand trapezes as an advanced trick and there was no concensus as to how difficult it is. If you’ve never tried 2A or 3A the offhand breakaway and catch are hard enough (I found them hard at least). So I prepared this combo which mixes up dominant and offhand elements, and then do the whole combo over backwards.
If you can knock this out in a day you deserve an extra prize since this was me trying to be annoyingly difficult.
And if you like it I can do more, this is the kind of trick video I’d like to do all the time
Yo this is dope and imma try it tomorrow! Looks fun for sure. I like the takuma Inoue approach where you do a trick and then the mirror in 5a and this is kinda like that. I play mostly 3a so the offhand thing is less weird for me now. Day one trying offhand stuff felt like going back to day one of yoyo like it was so hard and awkward hah! What helped me was just spamming throwing and catching offhand with a responsive yoyo. Lots of the middle bits of tricks can feel the same except tilt is opposite but getting a good offhand throw took me a while. Just kinda like rambling now lol
I think it’s slightly easier to get into a no dominant hand groove with responsive 5A, just because sometimes I lose track of which way my unresponsive is spinning and then the wrong move turns into a bind
Hah yeah this was fun and I support all media production like I got a lot of tricks to learn so I dunno if I can do like a million tuts but vids will stay around and ppl will find them like the trick is definitely fun and good for fixie 5a like just lots of good utility switches and stuff.
Happy to be here once again, thank you YYBC bretheren for having me.
Please see my submission for MRM. So happy to once again expand my skills and trick-sets. Always a good time, and always a bonus at the end, so far!
For my throw of choice, I was going to go with the YYBC Workhorse V2 (powered by G2), but I felt it important to let @Sgt1yoyo1 know the AL Butterfly was having a good time in my care.
Cowclops 5A challenge was with the Metal Harbinger, and the Log
