It’s true Henry over here doing TaW for months I should link this thread in our linktree now that I think of it…

Im down to go in there and check it out. I had noticed the thread before, but it just seemed like some of those tricks might be over my head right now. It could be just that i was seeing rhe tricks like later down the line, since i wasnt tuned in from the start.

At least with the past two themed months it was srructured in a way where it seemed to build up from week to week. I might go through the weekly trick set list from the begining and try to catch up.

My goal is to improve bigtime this year and this forum has helped me make big progress so far. My first year participating (second year of yoyoing), and Ive really been enjoying it! Glad i found yall!

Nothing like waiting until the last minute, eh? But here’s my son and I both landing all 3 tricks. Not the cleanest showing, but it’s there!

What I love most about FAF/MRM is that it gets me to explore outside my comfort zone. I was in such a doldrums before, throwing the same few tricks over and over.

Also, I splurged and got myself a harbinger today! We still need to get to know each other better, but so far I’m kinda smitten. I love these tiny bearings.:yo-yo:

Last minute and too busy to do them all but here’s jelly rolls just for an entry this week.

This also means yall got like an hour to go before midnight pst

Also just finished the next weeks video so at least we can rest assured week 3 will go live on time.

Sweet dreams folks.

Here’s my three for this week. Someone please explain how you keep the string from wrapping all the way round your NTH finger when you’re doing the “NTH behind TH” half of donuts. That was the toughest part for me this time.

Nice!! It is a realy good throw, but like Cody say, it is a bit to wide for certain 0a tricks. Bet you have a fun time with it.

You should definitely check out the tricks! They’re all like stand alone like it’s not really a progression from week to week or anything. Some weeks are harder and some weeks are easier but we try to keep it accessible. If you ever have a question about the thread or a specific trick, please ask! Good luck on your Yoyo journey!

April is usually the month to promote 4a. 4th month of the year and all. Also, 2a… :flushed:…Too hard…

What tricks would Origen be too wide for? Not saying you’re right or wrong, just genuinely curious. Also @Pun1sh3R , what style 0a do you find difficult with it? I often see it recommended as a good cheap option for 0a and Mk1 Mark’s yoyos are usually well received by the community. Just curious. Thanks y’all.

The shape of the Origen is more suited for Responsive 1A in my opinion.

I find stalls difficult personally with the Origen due to the minimal walls. In my rookie experience, I have a harder time keeping stalls balanced on the string. The Origen just kind of rolls off the string on me.

This indeed, i am just a beginner, and sometimes when i have the yoyo in the stall to long cause i need to think about the next step of the trick, it fall of, with the butterfly i don’t have any problems with that, or high walled yoyo like my wildwood gnomad. But origen is realy fun and still a good yoyo, but for learning it is imo a bit hard than the other 2 i mentioned and from what i have experience with.

I was questioning everything I knew about yoyo for a moment trying to figure out why I chose 2april after Henry drop 4 months 4a.
