My retail releases usually have some sort of packaging design & sticker art - the Harbinger had both, and it took a while to get it all finished. Been busy with lots of other stuff too
Can’t wait!
I never cared too much for metal responsive yoyos until I threw this. I’m very pleased with what Mark and I came up with.
I’m glad it’s uncapped. Looks like it’s going to play great. I heard someone say you eat with your eyes first. I think I might also yoyo with my eyes first.
Me too
This is high praise. Given how beloved the RBC is to the community, to hear this from you just sorta made beams of light come from nowhere and and shine on any Harbinger picture I look at now.
I’m not trying to praise my own yoyo, I just haven’t liked metal responsives in the past. The RBC is OK, but the Harbinger is better in my opinion.
YYE’s going to have to put an order quantity limit on these if that’s the case!
Well that’s only my opinion. I think it’s better. What do you think @MarkD?
Still biting my toungue… Unless Mr. Mark says otherwise…
When does my Non-Disclosure Agreement expire?
I don’t there’s anything wrong with what you think of it.
I may regret saying this if you think it’s terrible.
You know my opinion…
We’ll try better next time.
Just kidding.
Well, go for it! Nobody actually signed anything
My word is my bond!
With the new Harbinger, there already seems to be a comparison with the Red Blood Cell. Is it better?
The short answer is “No”.
It’s not worse either… It’s Similar but Different.
Both yoyos share the same internals. So if you have played and enjoyed the RBC, you can expect very similar of the Harbinger. The Build Quality is also great between the two.
However; that is where I feel the comparison stops. The differences in the designs stand out. Both can play very similarly but also play differently.
For example; If you like looping tricks, the RBC due to its shape excels a little more. The harbinger can still do it, but this play style lends itself more towards the RBC.
For example; 0A style stall tricks, I feel the Harbinger excels in this style over the RBC. Again both can do it, but I feel more control with the design of the Harbinger in this style.
Basically, you have 2 amazing yoyos in the Modern Responsive Style. Both are Manufactured to perfection and play amazingly.
The Harbinger is a great addition to the line-up. If I were to make a recommendation; Don’t sleep on this one.
As always, I appreciate your honesty, this is what gives your opinion value to me.
I actually like the RBC better but that’s just because it floats in water. That’s one of my important yoyo metrics these days.
They’re both great at being a classic-style yoyo that spins a long time. They’re both fun for shoot the moons, etc. Harbinger is better for string tricks, RBC is better for being funky.
Well that came off easier than what I was trying to type. I concur.
I prefer the Harbinger because I can fit more skittles into it.
Can you pass a skittle through the hole of a Button?
