Yes we though of that. It would have to be a third party job because the machine shop wont do it.
I’m not particularly happy with the quantity of ‘no’ we got from this factory.

If you don’t mind me asking, why wouldn’t they do it? Too time-consuming/labor intensive?
Then I would have to buy two, a red and a white.
PS. A little version could be called a platelet.
The RBC is a “I will never get rid of this and it is a top three throw of mine” yoyo for myself and many many others (based in threads speaking on said subjects.)
That is one hell of an accomplishment and the two of you deserve more than a pat in the back for what you’ve accomplished here.
What the legend of the Peak is to unresponsive, will be the legend of the RBC to responsive.
I would love to see various color options in the future that pair well with the greatness that this yoyo is.
I understand some may state I am exaggerating as their are some still in stock, but that is largely on account if said color options being less desirable (why I don’t know, the gold is beautiful and the yoyoexpert edition is the only the color I’ve liked in a long time.)
Regardless, it is still my prediction that this yoyo will gi to the status of legendary and timeless (as the Peak has) in due time. It already has for those that own one.
I’d love to see some famous annodizers from the past do some work for you guys. Can you imagine Vendetta and Jason Wing editions? I know it’s unlikely but a boy can dream.
Realistically, it all comes down to personal preference. The work Gruntbull did on the 2nd run Genyo Prestige would blow my mind on a RBC. A Saturday Market Collab with Onedrop (a fire and ice as well) would be something else. Getting yoyospirit to do some of his amazing powder coat work. The coup de graux would be glenacious carving a small box for each.
Would said things lead to a retail cost that would leave some people screaming out heresy? Yeah, but those individuals aren’t the target market anyway. I’d rather have a Gruntbull swirl RBC in a carved wooden box for $160 than a titanium for $300, but who knows, maybe it’s a pipe dream and I am in the minority here.
I noticed @MarkD mentioned taking out the bearing to make the RBC fixed axel… so i had to try it since I’m trying to stick with fixed February… i have to say the RBC makes a sweet fixed axel! This yoyo rocks!
The RBC is now my BEST yoyo. It is so versatile. I cannot foresee anything taking its place.
I sure hope production can continue, even at a higher price point.

How did you get the bearing out?
All of this talk about the under pad engraving got me curious to check It out and thankfully my pads are so translucent that you can see the engraving without having to remove the pads itself
Mark and I are talking, but not promising anything yet.
A “D” bearing size removal tool…i used the ZeroGravity bearing removal tool which has a D and C side.
Yye has one…i haven’t used but this should work easily…
Thanks for the tip. That is a better bearing tool than the one I have.
Awesome, thanks
This is so funny! I had no idea the RBC could work like this.
So I thought I could get on without an RBC but everybody is talking it up so much I’m starting to get fomo. I’m not even super into modern responsive but I’m intrigued…
Dude its just an incredible yoyo, don’t hesitate lol
Yeah, definetly a reason we aren’t seeing them on the BST.
the only yoyo ive ever bought 2 of lol
Okay okay, I got one. Luckily the navy was still in stock because that was the one that I really liked the look of. Also the engraving really pops on the navy.
Although my wife insists that it needs to be red so I might need to get a second one if there is another run of red. She said: “I’m not playing it if it’s not red.” I said: “Okay.”
Navy is probably my favoirite colour of the RBC. Classy.
