To Birdman, what were your design inspirations in developing the Swan after years of prototyping? I’d love to understand the design philosophy behind it and how it fits into your current playstyle.
Btw love your WYYC17 Finals, still hits hard to watch it today!
Are there any other players styles that inspired more detailed aspects of the design other than your own?
i remember you used to use the manatee for competitions and WYYC a while back, and was also wondering if Riccardo Fraolini’s style of play was also part of the design’s influence.
cheers and congrats on the release! happy throwing <3

Do you still own that galaxy print backpack we always used to see with you back in the day?
What was the the hardest part of making the swan, and what feature of the design did you really want, and you wouldnt be happy with until it came out the way you wanted it?
What went into the choice to make the Swan undersized? Obviously a lot of yo-yos (particularly those designed for competition) tend to be in the 55-57mm range nowadays while the Swan comes in at 52mm.
