To Birdman, what were your design inspirations in developing the Swan after years of prototyping? I’d love to understand the design philosophy behind it and how it fits into your current playstyle.

Btw love your WYYC17 Finals, still hits hard to watch it today! :bird:

Do you ever plan to make a comeback to competitive yoyoing?

Do you think competitive yoyoers should learn to CAD their own yoyos, or let a company do the work for them? Why?

Are there any other players styles that inspired more detailed aspects of the design other than your own?
i remember you used to use the manatee for competitions and WYYC a while back, and was also wondering if Riccardo Fraolini’s style of play was also part of the design’s influence.
cheers and congrats on the release! happy throwing <3

Do you still own that galaxy print backpack we always used to see with you back in the day?

What was the the hardest part of making the swan, and what feature of the design did you really want, and you wouldnt be happy with until it came out the way you wanted it? :yo-yo:

You said random question…

If you could only yo-yo in zero gravity with an invisible string, how would you know if the yo-yo was actually yo-ing?

How possible is that you can win a WYYC with the Swan?

Which was your first trick you did with SWAN?

Are there any small things that you put into your design that most people wouldn’t think about or notice?

Does it bum you out that Nike does not produce a line of sneakers made specifically for yoyoing?

What yoyo accessory setup do you use currently from strings, pads, etc?

Also do you do last minute rituals or warmups before going up on stage?

How was the design process of the Swan from your perspective? I know it takes a while, but I’d like to know what player input went into it/how it felt

Do you keep ketchup in the fridge or pantry?

If circles don’t exist, what shape do you want yoyos to be?

CLYW has a ton of famous color ways that they are knows for on their yo-yos, which one is your favorite?

If you were a fish what fish would you be?

Or something YoYo related what string do you like using?

What do you like and dislike about the yoyo community?

What went into the choice to make the Swan undersized? Obviously a lot of yo-yos (particularly those designed for competition) tend to be in the 55-57mm range nowadays while the Swan comes in at 52mm.
