Introducing the Megamont by YJYOYO, an innovative new model that enhances the nimble maneuverability of last year’s Swordmaster.
Designed as the signature yo-yo for Yasutaka Maeda of the YJYOYO Japan team, the Megamont leverages the groundbreaking bimetal rim structure, The Future Structure, developed by YJYOYO.
Maeda has a history of competing with the Mont series, including the Vegamont2020 and Segamont models. He achieved runner-up at the SJ regional competition in Japan using the Swordmaster, inspiring the creation of the ultimate Mont series yo-yo: Megamont.
The Megamont retains the powerful spin of the Swordmaster but with greater agility and a long-lasting, smooth rotation that boosts the success rate of Maeda’s techniques. The complex rim structure has been perfected to eliminate vibration, maximizing the yo-yo’s performance. It also features the acclaimed Tilt Pad System (Radiance size) for unparalleled stability. Everything about Maeda’s style in one yo-yo.
The Megamont’s design is inspired by Sakura-jima, the volcano in Maeda’s hometown of Kagoshima. The red model symbolizes the volcano, the light blue represents the sea, and the matte silver rim signifies volcanic ash, with a photo of the volcano taken by Maeda’s friend.
After a year of development, Megamont embodies top performance and meaningful storytelling, with Maeda’s continuous input and dedication. As his first signature model, Megamont represents YJYOYO’s passion and commitment to excellence.
