Burnout is built for a beginner’s first throw, and it looks like a racing wheel while it does it. YoYoFactory has been working on a brand new line of responsive entry-level yo-yos, and this is the one that kicks it off: cool looking, easy to learn with, low maintenance, and extra durable, with everything a new player needs in a single package.
The secret is in how it returns. A Starburst response and transaxle system keep maintenance to a minimum while delivering an extremely consistent level of response, so the yo-yo behaves the same way throw after throw. There’s no break-in period either. Take it out of the package and start throwing, with no tuning or setup standing between a new player and their first tricks.

The UFYO looks like a flying saucer and plays like two toys in one. YoYoFactory built this beginner model with a simple shape and a plastic spool, and it’s a great first yo-yo for learning basics like the sleeper and the forward pass. Lightweight, moderate dimensions keep it quick on the string and easy on your hand through repetitive throws.
Then there’s the party trick. Throw it horizontally, set it gently on the floor, and it spins on the ground like a top, which makes ground DNA tricks surprisingly easy and gives beginners a style of play rarely found in other yo-yos. The body is also based on the Loop 720, so players can swap in the Loop 720’s axle and internal parts to turn it into a looping model!
