Wow, that’s just amazing.
To bad you couldn’t add a little blue Peak ;).
That is amazing.
Great job on your work, as always.
Wait till you see my personal Peak.
Will you only do the peak and gloss white on CLYW’s? I really like it, and want to know if you can do it on a cheap metal? maybe a Raptor Metal drifter, ect.??
No more Peaks for anyone! After a few PM’s I received no reply back. Which in my opinion is unprofessional. A simple no would be all I need.
You mean PM’s, “Hey that’s CLYW’s peak design, you can’t copy it, it’s against copyright!!” Or just everyone wants one?
There will not be anymore “Peak” jobs coming out of my shop! I inquired about doing one more of them for my secret Santa, yes I know its spring, and I never received a reply back. I don’t hound people so that’s it.
I’m gonna do one for myself since it’s mine and I need zero permission from anyone.
One Drop Code1 in a clear green glow powder over blasted finish…
This is actually a screw up on my part. Mixed up my overlly taxed mind when ordering the powder. Was supposed to be a white base green glow. Anyway just so happens this is the famed Glow Dougs Code1 and I’m waiting on a reply from him. Figured I’d put up some pics. Glow is vergood which I will try to capture for you.
Clear went on good enough to just feel the ridges in the hub. May get a bit of a grind out of it.
:o :o :o :o :o
I just realized the photos were here… That looks so good Bob!
These pics are garbage but it tells a story.
What is in that pic? I can’t see it ::). Just kidding, looks good! How many throws have you PC’ed that glow?
4 if memory serves. But the new glow powders I use are light years ahead of the old stuff.
YYR Sleipnir in flat ano blue gap to outer rim of hub. Stock ano was maintained in inner hub.
Proper pics tomorrow…
Wow! That looks amazing. By the way, does powdercoating yoyos requires you to unscrew the yoyo? If it does, does that mean it can induce vibe on the YYR (or any yoyo) that you coated?
They all have to come apart no matter what. Vibe can be induced from time to time due to the powder usually on more elaborate multi coat schemes.
Nice to know. You should make a video of the process of powdercoating a yoyo.
MYY with a peak paint job…probably get death threats.
