Albatross blasted…
does a polish, then PC job make the PC shiny?
What can you do to recolor plastic? Can you pc plastic?
It has to withstand a really high temp.
Only the translucent colors.
Like modman said it has to be able to hold up to about 410 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
There’s really no point to powdercoat a plastic, the powder itself is basically plastic. It’s used on metal to give the metal a protective (and awesome looking) coat.
WOW! Is this my Bassalope before the powder coat?
Wow…
What kind of blast do you do?
Bead. Very fine grit on low pressure.
Will the raw aluminium start oxidizing after a blast? Or will they be just fine?
I have a Juggernaut. Would you be able to blast that? I know from first hand experience that it got quite the tough anodization

The blasted aluminium has a tendency to dirty easily. Also prone to scratches in it’s fragile state and I highly recommend having at least a clear ano seal done or better yet have it anoed in a favored color.
Your Juggernaut’s ano would not stand a chance in the blast cabinet.
Oh dear me that looks unbelievable! Can’t wait!
My goodness. Best looking thing in the thread, that Septopus looks SO GOOD.

I have to say I’m a bit smitten with this one. At on point when it first went in to get the catch blasted the polish was shimmering through the blast. Next time I blast over a polish I’m going to go extra slow and extra light and try to catch the same effect I saw. It was impressive looking.
Wow now I’m kind of sad I got rid of my old septopus. Good to see it has been treated well :). Looks amazing!!!
