Are you asking which do I like better, or which one should I recommend to you?
I like the Avalanche better because I think my markmont next has stability issues.
If you want me to recommend one to you then I have to ask if you want undersized or oversized.

I like the avalanche better, for me it out-preforms the mmn and I generally don’t like undersized too which adds to the factor. Your asking for a preference between two very different yoyos, so what’s your preference? It should be an easy decision. Budget wise avalanche is worth the extra $ over the mmn.
