From Luftverk: The Ultima shares a very similar profile to the Fulvia - but with a one gram weight increase and a concave center catch zone that transforms the feel and play of this throw. This aggressive competition style yo-yo takes everything that was learned through 2018/2019 projects and refines the well loved Fulvia into an even more stable trick machine.
Two variants again with the same profile but different weight distribution. The steel ring weighs nearly twice as much as the body, meaning that in house assembly of the rings are necessary to balance each yoyo perfectly smooth. The Bi-metal variant of the Ultima is therefore very limited due to assembly difficulties.
A new addition to this release is a finish TiAlN (Titanium Aluminum Nitrate) PVD coating. This unique coating is applied over a non-blasted surface to create an incredibly deep sheen. The actual finish has a blue haze to it - which proved very hard to capture in photos. The engraving is applied before the coating to create a really cool stealth look to it. With the BTM (Bi-metal Titanium) variants, the body and ring are coated to show the contrast of where the different materials begin and end.
