Can I use regular Lubricant as my thin lube? (water based formula)

No, you shouldn’t use anything water based, as it will rust your bearing. Just buy some YYJ thin lube or use something else that isn’t water based, like some kind of car oil.
Trumpet valve oil works great, And it’s pretty easy to find locally instead of having to order something online.
