So in 2013, I was a bored, underage, single Marine in the barracks. My roommate and I had discovered the F.A.S.T yo-yo and trick book set and spent hours of our off time learning all of the tricks in the book. Lots of laughs and good times were had. In 2014 I purchased the One Drop Benchmark “Wing” from here. Life happened, I stopped yo-yoing, had kids etc and we relocated back to our original home state when my time in service was over. Our first night back we stayed at her parents home and my car was broken into in their driveway and all of our bags were stolen. I thought I had left my yo-yo in one of those bags and it was gone forever (in addition to everything else).
Fast forward seven years to current day, and we are now living in Maryland. My son had went to go spend two weeks with his grand parents back in that same house. Upon picking him up from the airport he walks through the arrival gate with a smile on his face and says “grandpa found this, and thought it was yours because you like yo-yos”. Needless to say, I was filled with warmth and he handed me this yoyo. Best “mail day” ever.

Amazing story never let that throw leave your family it has touch 3 generations to get back to you. Keep it in the family even if some do not play. The story has to be told each time it is pulled out to play or talked about. The way grandad, dad and son were connected by the throw and how it is will be connected to the great grandson, the next generation as it is passed on. Awesome story
