curious if anyone has experimented with loop 720 cap replacements or swapping. I’m a big fan of capless loopers but been lately considering a replacement cap for aesthetics. I was thinking of crafting a “donut” shaped wood disc… so that it fits where the stock cap went. I imagine I would add a small amount of glue to secure it… and probably keep a hole in the middle for the axle to pop out of since the caps are generally concave… and I’m not that good. The dimensions would need to be pretty precise and maybe this might be better suited to a custom 3d print job.
Anybody try this? Any caps you’ve swapped? Thoughts?
