holy heck i hate yoyo displays. i like when things are complete, even, and preferably symmetrical. even and symmetrical are out the window up front. that leaves me with complete. if i make the display able to hold exactly all of the yoyos i own then i have no room for new throws and any new ones will have to have a separate display…which will start off not being full! conversely if i just start with something big enough to accommodate all my throws plus room for new ones, then i have an incomplete display and that obviously is unacceptable so then i have to buy more yoyos to fill the slots but then i have to buy another display cuz MOAR YOYOS!..
The trick is to SELL displays so you can buy more yo-yos to fill more displays. You could display your displays on BST, then display your filled displays showing off how well your displays display your collection.

touche sir! also, im not sure I’ve ever owned that many of anything…do legos count? for that matter, if i buy my daughter a lego set with 1000 pieces, did i buy her 1000 toys that work together or 1 toy in 1000 pieces?
