So the bind is a ghost bind but with like a swinging motion involved?

Also I just realized, is this even a jade whip at all? It looks like your just in like a ne handed trapeze or something.

Nah it’s just a laceration bind but a double whip. The first whip is shorter because you’re using some of the momentum created by your non throw hand. Here’s a tutorial for the whole bind https://www.instagram.com/tv/BsDaJPrhLGt/

I kinda had the same experience. Gave it some more time and got a feel for more possibilities. Dont think it matters for the ruling, but if you can do the pop, try when the yoyo is just hanging (not from the combo but as practice for this part) and try just the bind part of the trick.
