Has anyone seen this yet? The design of this yoyo is sooo sick! I love the original krown, and if this is like an upgrade; then this yoyo will definitely play well.

But I’m SUCH a fan of the original, I just don’t know how it could be improved upon!

I’m in two minds about this at the moment. It looks awesome, but it also looks a bit too much like a Berserker SS to really grab my interest (and my wallet).

I’ll keep my eye on it though. If I hear good things and it comes out in a colourway I like, I’ll probably pull the trigger. As Greg said, I would be interested to see how they’ve improved upon the original. :slight_smile:

I’m highly disappointed in what they’ve done

I tend to agree the original didn’t need an upgrade, but I was not against the idea of a bi-metal krown

I found the original was already too large (I like 42/43), so even if I loved it, I didn’t give mine much play time, so the new ratio width/diameter doesn’t please me at all, now it’s both too large and too small

I don’t doubt it’s good, it’s just definitely not what I was expecting :frowning:

I was talking about width range, I should have typed 42-43, my bad :smiley:
Sleipnir, Draupnir, Anglam, Berserker…

I don’t know the need for wider yoyos today, they’re so inaesthetic imo
Didn’t like the Acrophobia, both too wide and too small for me

I only go with wide yoyos when they’re oversized, Dreadnought and Overdrive are prime examples

The Krown is truly a great yoyo, I just don’t feel comfortable with its width

But if I get to try the Krown ST someday, I hope to change my mind on it

I’m a huge fan of the ridgy-didge too… I almost can’t believe that yoyo could ever be better. Just mono 7075… Nothin’ finer.

This showed up today. I have not tried the original Krown but wow I can say this stacks up against anything I have including the Draupnir.
