Is there a difference (noticeable) from KS I purchased in the past?
I like Kitty Fat, although not all yo-yos do. Gap width.

Yes, The new 1st Class from Japan feels a little coarser, is a tad stiffer, but last longer. The original Kitty from the Philippines plays softer and has that great sweet spot for the first 30-45 minutes of play. I enjoy both. As far a Gap widths and thickness this is what I prefer:
- 3.9mm-4.3mm-Regulars
- 4.35mm-4.55mm- Fat
- 4.6mm-5mm- XL

The new 1st Class is as long as the Normal Kitty, it is however shorter than the Tall. So if you are use to Kitty Fat Tall (which are the stock strings on A-RT throws from them directly), yes 1st Class is shorter by a few inches. I play my 1st Class around 115cm and I’m still cutting about 8cm off.
