There is nothing wrong with being thrifty! I do the same. Sometimes I am stunned by pricing on yoyo’s!
It really just depends on how much you enjoy sparks!

Even though sparking Titanium is more fun than I thought it would be; being a Welder for several decades has exposed me to more sparks than most non welders could or would see in 10,000 years🙀
So… sparks are no real big deal.
But the action of the Ti sparking at night is totally worth seeing how people react to seeing the Ti sparks.
People always seem to get a kick out of it.

They do but it easier to remove them, and they resist getting dings better as well.
