I kept one Target Glow back for myself.

I tried charging it with a bright flashlight.

It glows!

Thanks for the tip. I will pass it on to Melissa so she can try it for my grandaughters.

Thank you!

Glad I could help!

If your light’s bright enough, or better yet, UV, it makes them darn near radioactive.

I have a black light in the closet but it’s designed to erase PROMS. I’ll bet that would really light it up.

I would have to compromise the safety interlocks so that probably not be a good idea.

Thanks, Jeff

This is a cool time-capsule collection, but they aren’t getting anywhere near that much money, even if they sold everything individually for top dollar.

I offered $40.

I think even that is too much.

Kinda reminds me of the movie Christmas Story “fra-gi-le.” Luftverk must be German.

When I started this thread sometime ago, I knew everything that was loony wasn’t gonna be incredibly loony. I mean some of the things and their prices are seen differently on whether you’re a reseller, a collector or an end user, etc…

And even though this following listing is not incredibly loony, it is a little steep in my view anyway.

And, anybody that would pay that much for that lot…… ‘Also, has a soft spot’.

One thing I have noticed, as I have scrolled through potential candidates for the incredibly loony listings thread, is that a very high percentage of the sellers have 100% positive feedback ratings.

Now, I don’t follow up on Most of these to see if the items actually sold? In a way, I hate to think that they do. But that being said, if some of these high items, yo-yos actually sell for crazy prices, I would think a good number of people would see the mistakes that they made, and the sellers wouldn’t have so many hundred percent feedback ratings.

I mean, the seller is not forcing anybody to buy things for outrageous prices. But if you paid $1500 for a $10 yo-yo and your friends told you the hard way that you got suckered to the ninth level, you probably be pretty irked and make sure the seller that fleeced you no longer had 100% feedback

I am sure a good number of fairly intelligent people that just have some good money to throw around, either know that they’re overpaying, but want the object or they have no idea they’re overpaying, and they just get hosed.

Certainly hard to calculate what the percentages would be of people that knowingly Buy into a nightmare, or unwittingly buy into a nightmare?

Also, I should know, I am fully aware simply from being an eBay user since eBay started, that if a person has 1500 transactions that doesn’t mean he sold 1500 Yo-yos. A good number of people sell a variety of items and possibly sell a yo-yo now and then. I would never assume when I look at a sellers transaction account that every item they sold was a yo-yo because they’re most current offering is a yo-yo. You would have to scroll back to the sellers to find out if he sells yo-yos on a regular basis or just one now and then?

But I would think, just using a logical point of view, and if a seller sucks, too many people to thin, wallet status, That would come back with a not too nice feedback?

Oh well, This thread will probably keep going as long as this forum is on the Internet simply because there’s no shortage or listings or the people that generate them. That is the nature of man.

For the Business, can you link the BST post? I don’t remember making one. You might have two separate individuals getting trashed instead of just one?

Unless I’m wrong this is just a horizon :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Oh absolutely lol

anything you see from ‘happiness3377’ (happiness1337 exists too i think) is just a relist bot from mercari, with the price multiplied by 2.5-3x hoping a rich westerner will randomly buy it
