Easy. Walk the dog? Arm grind. “I walk my dog up my arm.”
Around the world? Break-away World Tour.

With around the world, you can also do a pinwheel. Still gets people going.

Anyway, I was expecting about 5-10 responses…but you only gave a couple. But then, I guess that does constitute as ‘a few’

I was yo-yoing while waiting for my brother and this girl asked me. “Can you do walk the dog? My brother has that stick candle toy(kendama) but he can’t do walk the dog…” I nodded. “Yes I can,” And I showed her, I got a little irritated… But it wasn’t really her fault. Then I thought back to what she said.
Did she mean yo-yo with the walk the dog part? That was confusing ._.

I honestly have NEVER been asked to walk the dog, but I guess everybody else does. My main “request” isn’t even a request at all. I’ll do, like, rock the baby or something and somebody’ll tell me, “oh my god! You should totally enter a contest! You’d win 1st place for sure!” I know they’re just being nice and don’t know what they’re talking about, it gets on my nerves a bit knowing dang well I could NEVER win a contest.

Same here. I always carry one YYF ONE with me. And funny thing, even with tricks like Walk the Dog, it looks almost new. It’s black, maybe that’s one reason, but it can handle a lot I tell you.

I really don’t get why some of you guys get mad when someone asks you to “walk the dog”. They are trying to relate to you. Interaction is a good thing, at least they are interested. If they know “walk the dog” it means at some point they had a Yoyo. You can start a whole new conversation about modern yoyoing.

You kinda have to realize that at that moment you are the face of the yoyo community. They probably wont see any other yoyoers and whatever you do will leave an impression on that person. I am not saying you have to be this way or that way, do what you want. I like to talk to people who are interested, it’s more fun when you share.
