This is Yu Kawada’s 1A freestyle from Worlds 2001.
You might think, isnt this AP?
Well its not.
AP was first introduced at the world yoyo contest in 2002, and guess who inspired its creation.
Yep.
Yu.
I got chills the first time I saw this freestyle just cause of how epic it seemed with its flow and music sync.

Whenever you guys see a great AP performance, you mine as well thank Yu cause he really is the reason that they started it.

Yu actually won AP at worlds 2006 with this also very cool and inspirational freestyle.
