I got this Peak from ReverendYoaround May of '08. He had done a custom ano job to the Peak, but somehow the bearing seat on one half had gotten damaged. I bought it from him planning to SPR it. One thing led to another, end it ended up looking like this:

Hubless Peak! Far out! So, I put the two halves in a box and figured someday I’d get around to doing a hub mod on it. Well, that time has come! About a week ago I decided to get a 1" black delrin rod to make hubs for the Peak out of. Here are the new hubs cut and ready to go in the Peak:
Here they are after pressing and gluing them into the Peak halves:
After letting the yoyo sit for 24 hours to make sure everything was set up (the hubs were an extremely tight fit, but I decided to use a little Gorilla Super Glue just to make sure they weren’t going anywhere!). Tonight I drilled and tapped a thread ‘repair’ insert and recessed in a Born Crucial SPR. This means that you could also drop in a small bearing SPR to play it either as a large or small bearing! I am out of small bearing SPRs, so I can’t say how it plays as a small bearing
