HYBRID FULVIA by LUFTVERK! Absolutely Stunning!

The one that I first got was much more than a “little” vibe, more like a crazy amount. Unless it can be fixed, it couldn’t be sold as even a B grade. I’m interested to try Andre’s fix.

I wonder if it works with yyf rim adjustment tool for the hybrid fulvia’s pulse vibe, if you have one just give it a try.

If you do it comment on how the results are!

Thanks for the tip, Andre…

It didn’t improve either of mine, sadly.

But stomping on the yo-yos made me feel better for some reason.

Isn’t it what happens when the weight is placed way too wide vs the diameter? I know because I used to design a yoyo with the weight placed far wider than it should and then it wobbles a lot. No not from machining issue but from the design itself, the ones that happens because the yoyo doesn’t self stabilize enough. It “wants” to spin sideways.

If this is the case, maybe this design was pushed too close to the limit.

Either way I’m still getting one.

I gave this a try, but there was no improvement. I wonder if there was some alignment issue between the molding and maching steps

Yeah I wasn’t able to fix my vibe by stepping on them either.

The light from a widow caught my eye so I took some pictures of the clear Hybrid Fulvia.

Very nice!

I got my replacement from yoyoexpert last week. I detailed the vibe issue, they suggested a method of resetting the rings along with sending a replacement that they said would be tested for the vibe. It came with the same issue, so I am just counting this one as an L unfortunately. They also said it was very easy for these to get knocked out of whack again, and although I haven’t hit them on anything whatsoever, both the one I sent back and the new one vibe like crazy. Also the method for fixing the vibe did not work for the replacement one either

Good News, its still very pretty to look at

But what do you all consider allot of vibe? Like I almost want a video to understand how bad the vibe is.

Not sure about this unit that Erik is talking about but you’ll see when you get the pay it forward in a month or so. One is a really crazy b-grade. The vibe is all over the place, but I personally find it to be a lot of fun to throw that way.

Well that sucks! My replacment from Yoyofriends was fine. My original was way beyond a B grade.

There’s a Twitter video earlier in this post that displays the level of vibration.

The one I have now is not quite as vibey as that video above, but it does still give that sort of “phantom” effect due to the amount of vibe. It is still playable though, as long as you keep it moving, which is why I am not returning this one.

Add me to list of peeps who got a bad one  I cant be bothered to send it back to the US though so thats an L

(Thinking: Why didnt they test the ones they sent out after learning about this issue being frequent?)

Contact the retailer, as chances are they will just send you a new one. I was not asked to return my original throw.

Originally Luftverk sent out a notice that only a few yoyos that were sent out early had the dreaded pulse vibe, that after a certain date they should be good. This was before any of them were being sold by retailers. It sounds like it’s more wide spread than they initially thought.

That makes sense… Hopefully the future release with colored rims will be better
